Associate Member
In order to become an associate member it is necessary for a player to have attended at least 3 events. Once they have requested to join, the existing associate members will be asked if there are any reasons why the potential associate member cannot join the club. If any reason to block their membership is put forward the full members will decide on whether to accept or reject the associate membership application. Once the associate membership has been agreed then the applicant will become a probationary member for the next 3 events. Providing that there are no incidents during those 3 events that call their membership into question then the probationary member will become an associate member.
Associate members will be expected to pay the current green fees for every event that they attend, however they will not pay extra for overnight games. Whilst an associate member has the right to enquire about the running of the club (including the finances) they do not have the automatic right to be part of discussions about the running of the club (including the finances). However, from time to time there may be discussions which associate members may be asked to provide some input to. The associate members have the right to attend the AGM but will not have a vote on any issues unless they are invited to.
