Anyone else going to this event? Its being run by Atroop at Afonwen. Theres going to be a big turnout as quite a few of the Manc-AS members will be in attendance and its all for the good cause of raising some cash for our Wounded Service men and women.

So very very sore, harsh and hard terrain up in those Welsh mountains, topped off with a good mornings classic drizzle
Excellent event, vehicles, pyros, some good firefights. Bit of a wobbly start when me and the missus were continuosly taking multiple hits to the face after screeching hit repeatedly and I got a bit 'agitated' so to speak. Its all good heat of the moment stuff, apologies to anyone if needed. Really enjoyed it and many thanks to everyone who worked, played and helped make this event happen whilst also raising a few pennies towards a good cause.
A few pics for now, ask if you want some more and Ill upload them. Video to come later. Water got into the camera and corrupted a few pics and the video of the bloke swimming naked in the mud - yes thats correct, and he cut himself up as well the poor bugger, gutted on losing the footage:)

Just got this.
'A huge thank you goes out to all of you who have done such a fantastic effort fundraising for our Heroes this weekend.
Words are not sufficient to express my gratitude for the magnificent support provided by the North West Airsoft Community and the amazing generosity of all who donated.–
The members of First & Only – who found out what Landrovers are really used for, The guys from Ex-Site – Taffy and Diane for the catering cos it was brilliant, Assault Troop members for their help in hosting the event and Alpha 55 guys for taking the photos.
The adverse weather certainly didn’t dampen your support, I know that it was maybe not quite what some of you were use to as everyone who attended ended up wet, mucky, cold and tired but thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
There were in attendance, ex-members of the Forces who are passionately committed to the welfare of our young servicemen and women.
We all see these troops, these young men and women coming back from operations in places such as Iraq and Afghanistan having suffered amputations and what strikes you is their complete lack of self pity and their determination to get on with their lives.
We are not sure how much money was raised yet as there are still pledges to come in but we hope by next weekend that we will have a final figure which we will post on the forum.
Please try to spread the word about h4h to everyone you know, friends and family etc – the more publicity they get the more money can be raised for them.
As this event was so much fun and all for such a good cause, First and Only with our support will be holding a h4h 2 sometime early next year.
Please watch out for details on the forums and in airsoft international magazine.
If you were one of the players this weekend and enjoyed yourselves – rally some of your fellow players/friends and family to come to the next one.
PS: Could all the people who took photos please send them to me via email or pop them on a CD for me and I will pick them up from you as we wish to have them all Printed and Published and have them on sale by the end of next week.'
I came to bring the pain, more heart for the game, more tears for your brain.
